Trader Joe's

I ❤️ Trader Joe's!!🥰 I don't go very often, but from time to time I like to go just to look around and see what kind of goodies I can find!! Trader Joe's rarely disappoints me because I can always find a few tried & true favorites, but also something new!! I've always loved the Greensboro store, but often being in the area in recent years, this Chapel Hill location has grown on me!😁❤️

WOW Trader Joe’s! WTH happened to your Chapel Hill store over the past 5-6 months?!? I’ve shopped at this store about once a week for 10+ years. Trader Joe’s has always been an upbeat and inviting place to shop, with friendly and helpful staff. Brilliantly staffed, with enough people to help shoppers find items, perfectly stock shelves, and get everyone checked out quickly. Starting about six months ago that all changed. When you shop in a store every week for 10+ years, you get to know the people working there (especially when there was low employee turnover). The number of new staff working in the store has at least doubled, and maybe even tripled in 6 months. Some of the long-term and experienced staff are still there (for now) and they seem to be the only ones that are actually ‘doing the work’. There are literally so many new employees in the store now, they’re actually blocking the aisles. Not working, just hanging out. They project an attitude of complete boredom and total disregard for the shoppers. This is not a one-off experience. Sadly, over the past 5-6 months, this has become the new normal for this store. Here is one example….Today there were 8-10 employees

My favorite grocery store — and it’s not even close. Great selection of unique products you won’t find anywhere else, quality is always on point, and the prices are hard to beat. The staff here are genuinely friendly and always happy to help. Shopping at Trader Joe’s never feels like a chore — it’s actually enjoyable. If you haven’t tried their snacks and frozen meals, you’re seriously missing out. Once you go TJ’s, it’s hard to go back to regular grocery stores. 10/10.

No one is more excited than me about stumbling across the Korean Galbi here and its official! I already a fan of the famous Orange Chicken, but I officially have a new favorite. This is just as good and more cost effective than buying ingredients and making it at home. The flavor is official! I cooked it stovetop this time, careful, you'll get hypnotized by the carmelization 😍😎 and if you want to elevate your experience??? Throw it on the grill!!!🔥🔥🔥 Six (3) bone pieces in each package. Perfect dor dinner for 2. Or some for now and later. Had it for dinner tonight..😋😋😋 trust, I'm telling my friends. 🫰🏼👌🏼

Great employees and management! I called a few months ago, and they kindly held some items for me until I could get to the store, which I really appreciated. I also received free flowers on my birthday — such a thoughtful touch! Their fresh flower selection is great. The only downside is that it’s almost always crowded, and parking can be a bit of a headache. It can definitely feel overstimulating at times 😅 but overall, the customer service keeps me coming back!
